A great hat starts with a great fit. Because hat sizing can vary by brand and style, we put together this guide to help you find your perfect size before you order.

How to Measure Your Head

All you need is a soft measuring tape (a flexible fabric or sewing tape works best). No tape measure? Use a piece of string, then measure the string against a ruler.

Position the tape — Wrap it around the largest part of your head, about one inch above your eyebrows and ears, and across the widest part of the back of your head.
Keep it level — The tape should sit horizontally all the way around — not tilted front to back.
Read the measurement — Note the number where the tape overlaps. This is your head circumference.
Find your size below — Match your measurement to the chart. If you fall between sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort.

The Drifter

The Drifter features a wide, flat brim and a structured crown. It is designed with a true-to-size fit — if you are between sizes, sizing up will give a more relaxed wear. The structured crown holds its shape well and provides a clean, premium look. Available in 7 sizes (6 3/4 – 7 5/8) across 5 colorways.

Tips for a Great Fit

Between sizes? Go up — a slightly larger hat can be adjusted with sizing tape (sold separately at most hat shops); a hat that is too small cannot be stretched without damage.
Hair and head shape matter. Measure with your hair styled as you normally wear it. Those with rounder heads may find structured crowns fit differently than oval heads.
Sweatbands break in. A new hat may feel snug at first. Genuine leather and cotton sweatbands soften and conform to your head over time.
